FDM (Filament-Based)

Resin (MSLA/SLA)
Resin printers use UV light (either a laser or an LCD screen) to cure liquid photopolymer resin one layer at a time. The build plate lifts up as each layer hardens in the vat below. Machines like the Elegoo Mars and Anycubic Photon series are MSLA resin printers.

- You have a dedicated workspace away from kids and pets (uncured resin is a skin/eye irritant)
