Filament for AnkerMake M5 — Reliable PLA for Fast, Clean Prints
The AnkerMake M5 and M5C brought high-speed 3D printing to a broader audience with their 500mm/s capable motion systems and user-friendly design. But the printer is only half the equation — your filament quality determines whether those fast prints come out clean or covered in artifacts. Forgely manufactures PLA filament with ±0.02mm diameter tolerance that feeds smoothly through the AnkerMake M5's direct-drive extruder, delivering consistent results at any speed setting.
We test our filament on AnkerMake hardware to verify feeding reliability, surface finish quality, and dimensional accuracy. Whether you are using the M5 for rapid prototyping or the M5C for everyday printing, Forgely PLA gives you the material consistency your printer needs to perform at its best. Manufactured in Ogden, Utah, with lot tracking and hex-coded colors on every spool.

Frequently Asked Questions
What temperature should I use for Forgely PLA on the AnkerMake M5?
We recommend 210-215 degrees C nozzle temperature and 60 degrees C bed temperature for standard speed printing on the M5. If you are pushing speeds above 300mm/s, increase to 220 degrees C to ensure full melting. The M5's PEI build plate works well with Forgely PLA without adhesive at these temperatures.
Does Forgely filament work with AnkerMake's slicer software?
Yes. Forgely PLA works with both AnkerMake Slicer and third-party slicers like Cura and PrusaSlicer. Use the standard PLA material profile in your slicer of choice. Our filament's ±0.02mm tolerance means the default flow rate settings work correctly without per-spool calibration adjustments.
Is Forgely PLA compatible with the AnkerMake M5C?
Yes. The M5C uses a similar direct-drive extruder system to the M5. Forgely PLA feeds reliably through both models. The M5C's slightly different build plate still provides excellent adhesion with Forgely PLA at 60 degrees C bed temperature.
