Red PLA Filament 1kg — Hex-Coded #CC0000 | Forgely

Red PLA Filament 1kg — Bold, Consistent, Precision-Manufactured

A true red filament shouldn't shift from crimson to brick between spools. Forgely Red PLA is manufactured to hex code #CC0000 — a vivid, saturated red that stays identical across every spool you order, whether you buy one today or fifty next quarter. Our ±0.02mm diameter tolerance delivers reliable extrusion from the first layer to the last, and every spool is lot-tracked back to its production batch in our Utah facility.

Red is one of the hardest filament colors to keep consistent. Pigment concentration affects both the color and the melt flow, which is why budget red filaments often look different spool to spool and print differently too. Forgely solves this with controlled pigment ratios tied to our hex-code standard and continuous diameter monitoring during extrusion. The result is a red PLA that prints as reliably as it looks.

Whether you are printing cosplay armor, product prototypes, signage, or display models, Forgely Red PLA gives you a professional finish without post-processing color correction. Compatible with all open FDM printers including Bambu X1C, P1S, A1 with AMS, Prusa MK4, Creality Ender series, and Voron builds.

What hex code is Forgely Red PLA?

Forgely Red PLA is manufactured to hex #CC0000 — a vivid, saturated red. This color code is maintained across every production batch through controlled pigment ratios. When you reorder months later, you get the same red, not a shade variation that clashes with your existing prints.

Can I print Forgely Red PLA at high speed on a Bambu X1C?

Yes. Forgely Red PLA is tested at speeds up to 300mm/s on the X1C with AMS. The ±0.02mm tolerance ensures stable melt flow even at high extrusion rates. Recommended settings: 210-220°C nozzle, 55-65°C bed, 100% part fan.

Is the red color food-safe for cookie cutters or kitchen items?

PLA is generally recognized as safe for brief food contact, but 3D-printed layer lines can harbor bacteria. For food-contact items, we recommend using Forgely Red PLA with a food-safe sealant coating. The pigment we use is stable and non-toxic, but the printed surface texture is the limiting factor for food safety.
